In this week’s episode, our host Claire Doran of the RSA is joined by a trio of local grassroots food champions to explore what we’re learning through this crisis about our food systems and relationships to food.

Join us live for the episode on Friday at 3pm as we explore…

  • What are we learning about our food systems through this crisis?
  • In what ways has it become apparent that our food system doesn’t work for everyone?
  • What if food could be sourced, produced and distributed more sustainably in a way that works for everyone, after Covid-19?

There is exciting potential for a new approach to local food systems, especially now. We’re looking forward to you sharing your comments, ideas and experiences.  Be ready to experience some delicious ideas for change!

THE NEXT 5 WEEKS IMAGINING LIFE BEYOND LOCKDOWN

Over the course of the next 5 weeks, themes from the local economy to neighbourhoods will be explored with thoughts, ideas and insights from some of the UK’s leading lights in social change.
Together we will begin to imagine how we can move from “what is” to “what if…?”
Last week, we kicked off our weekly series of six online chat shows with the heart-warming musings of activists Maff Potts (Camerados) and Rob Hopkins (Transition Network) on how to care for each other during lockdown.
